Mission & Outreach Mission is our grateful response to God's mercy as we reach out to those in need in our community and reach out farther into our region, state, nation, and the world.Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19)

Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run & Food Drive This ministry was started in 2007 and has grown to include over 500 particiapants per year - walking, running, and donating to a good cause! In lieu of registration fees participants are asked to donate non-perishable goods for donation to the Alpha Center Food Pantry. We collect nearly 4 tons of food each year! T Shirts and other fundraising also create funds to donate to Alpha for the purchase of additional food. I want to register! I want to donate! Volunteers are needed to help with race day activities. I want to help!

Blessing Box This self serve 24/7 access box is located in the front of the church on Miami Avenue. It is stocked with non-perishable foods, and anyone can take or leave items. Volunteers are needed to help with food donations, and to keep it stocked. I want to help!

Munch Bunch Children need to be at school on Monday morning with a full stomach and ready to concentrate and study. For school staff who knows the signs, it's not hard to pick out hungry students. They are the ones who empty their lunch trays in a flash. It's worse when there's a weekend and children don't get enough to eat for over 48 hours.This ministry gives students that are food-insecure meal supplements for their weekend food needs.The weekend meals are distributed to 5 local elementary schools.Volunteers are needed to purchase the foods, stock and sort the meal bags, and delivery to the schools.
